Silver LEED Certified

Jungclaus transformed this former Deluxe Check plant into a state-of-the-art chocolate factory. Because part of Endangered Species’ message is sustainability, the firm sought a Silver LEED certification for the project.

When the scope of structural and mechanical renovation is limited, so are the LEED options, but we found creative ways to reuse and recycle almost everything, including reuse onsite. Throughout the $1 million project we worked with the designers to incorporate value into the details of the LEED design.
