The Athenaeum
Jungclaus was brought to the historic Athenaeum to perform emergency repairs when another, unrelated contractor dropped a crane on its roof, severing a sprinkler line and causing extensive damage inside and out.
We repaired the structural damage and worked with specialty contractors to repair the sand-finish plaster walls & ceilings, heart pine wainscoting, and white oak trim and floors, restoring the interior space to its original splendor.
All the while, the YMCA and Rathskeller restaurant were able to continue their operations with little interruption.
