As designed by GM’s Argonaut subsidiary, these
labs came in far over the $950,000 budget, threatening to set back
GM’s TQM plans.
GM came to us because of our insight on previous projects
(Jungclaus and GM have been partners since 1920). As the Design-Builder,
we found more than $100,000 in savings, even while adding structural
steel so these self-contained, climate-controlled laboratories could
later accommodate bridge cranes.
